It took Pressley 30 years to articulate his identity as a bisexual male spirit in a female body. When he joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he decided he would ignore the parts of himself that didn’t fit into Mormonism. But today he knows there is nothing wrong with him, and he wants others to know people like him exist. Since coming out, Pressley has met many people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or gender-queer. He believes these people simply deserve the right to be themselves, and he encourages them to remember that they’re not alone and to not give up, because the world is changing for the better.
