As a gay Mormon, Craig doesn’t have all the answers, but he knows he is important and that his life matters. He didn’t always feel this way–during a particularly hard time, he almost committed suicide before a friend intervened and he got help at a hospital. In the five years since then, Craig has come out to many friends, both gay and straight, and had more spiritual experiences than he ever thought he would. He values his membership in the Church and deeply wants to be a father someday, even though he’s not sure how that will happen. Today, Craig still doesn’t know how his future will turn out, but he has confidence that his life matters and that things will turn out for the best.
